Full grain leather is the strongest, top-most layer of the hide. Full grain leather, hasn’t been buffed, sanded down, or altered. This type of leather creates the strongest and most durable products.
Leather Grading
Leather is a natural product and contains all the natural characteristics from the life of the cow, including bug bites, scars, fat wrinkles, scratches and brand marks. We have graded our leather cuts to ensure you know what to expect.
Grade A: It's the best quality and has little to no defects. Any defects present will be located towards the outer edges of the sheet to maximize usable area. Wrinkles may be present and are not considered defects.
Grade B: Has one or more defects located on any area of the sheet. They still have over 90% of usable area and are a perfect option for making smaller items were you can cut your template around any defects.
